Edgar Toral Hernandez is a healthcare and hospitality executive with over 20 years of experience working at C-level positions in Asia with market leaders including Hilton International, Bumrungrad International, Sodexo Healthcare, Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare and Thanyapura Health and Sports Resort.

Edgar has deep experience working with owners and investors building profitable businesses differentiated by people and service excellence. His success as an operator revolves around his ability to execute to plan and build teams that deliver on the mission, vision and goals of the organization. 

Having worked with large healthcare and hospitality companies, Edgar uniquely understands the business and economics of managing guests and patients. He has extensive experience developing and operating hospitality services in hospitals and running clinics inside hotels and resorts. 

A Belgian national, Edgar is fluent in English, Spanish and French and has worked in China, Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and the Maldives. His work at Bumrungrad International transformed the service quality of the hospital to rival those of five star hotels, and he was pivotal to Sime Darby’s healthcare business expansion efforts, co-developing two new tertiary hospitals and running the first integrated wellness and regenerative medicine clinic.
